I'm not cute,
I am me.
I'm not a puppy dog
or a pet.
I'm not a puppet;
see me yet?
You do pat me,
stroke my ego.
You do chide me,
don't let me go.
You like me,
clever and cute.
As long as I don't
overshoot.
But I'm a dog
and I can bite.
So watch your fingers
cause I might.
