Game

This morning I woke

with puppy pokes

and launched

upon the floor.

Grabbed my gear

and whistled for dogs

as I sailed

right out the door.

A stifled yawn,

a sudden stretch,

I prepare for another day.

It's time to play,

it's Saturday,

get ready for the GAME!

Darkness

The moon is gone, summer is cold;
a flower is evil, the young are old.
The sun is dark, water is dry;
