I flew above the ocean's roar,
saw pale gray skies and snow capped peaks.
The sun it peaked upon the day,
golden shafts of light it leaked.
It drew me south to where I knew,
new love awaited, a love I knew...
We drove through velvet rolling hills,
pastures fresh and skies so blue.
We came across a the hidden trove,
the place of birth and life renewed.
And there we spied in colour of sand,
standing proud, our wee man.
His eyes lit up will wild excite,
he strutted forth to show his might.
His proud wee chest was golden striped,
as we gazed forth, our tears we wiped.
His eyes of olive green won through,
his baby breath and silken coat,
and never once did we doubt or care,
he was reborn, the Kodiak Bear.
