Delight

Within a glint of green-gold light, 

I see at first what is in sight,

my mind it lights a spark, possibly. 

Within the realm of thought tonight, 

my dreams turn on and oh so bright, 

I see the signs of burning love 
for me. 

But is this thought a lonely soul?

Imagination, tales untold?

The dawn it brings along reality. 

It is my fate, it shall be free. 

It is my choice, frivolity. 

It is a laugh, it is delight, 

it is escape - tonight.
