Life is a beach

I lay on the sand and feel the heat, the rays of the sun restore my beat.
A steady pulse, the roar of the surf, I am with my friends we laugh with mirth.
Time stands still and so do I, a heading wind, a gull flies by.
I smell the salt, I hear the trees, I feel the breath of the summer breeze.
Life goes on and so do I, I miss my love, I'd rather die.
To be without, I have no doubt, life would end, no amends.
He is my soul, my world to me, my roaring surf, my summer breeze.
