The Birth

Suddenly and softly, 

seeks the world around. 

Breaks the withheld silence, 

kills it with a sound. 

First breath, shakes death. 

Opens up a life. 

Warmth, rest, 

struggles, breast.. 

comfort, warmth, delight!

Beside

Is the sky defined by its colour, so blue?

Does the wind once blown, return or renew?

Does the sun once its shone, die for the day? 

Does the moon change monthly or does it stay?

The way I feel and think of you,

is never with sadness, never quite blue. 

I think of the joy we had in the past 

and hold on to love; a love that will last. 

So be well my baby. Be by my side..

and share in this love, I wear it with pride.

The Bone

Softly spoken, warm to touch, 

feather light, feel my brush. 

Gently takes your hand and lifts it up.

Draws you near to feel you breathe, 

watches as your chest does heave, 

feels the quickened pulse of life heat up.

Breathes your scent and feels your glow,

presses tight so you will know, 

here I am to share to life with you. 

Stares intent into your soul, 

Shed our youth as we grow old. 

The only things that matter is me and you.

Life Undone

Traumatised and

brutalised.

Once despised,

immortalized.

Never cries,

never tries,

undone.

Tried disguise,

pretty eyes,

still chastised,

then deprived.

Once surprised,

death defied,

he's gone.

Bounced right back,

kept on track,

twisted wrack,

rebounded smack.

Fight right back,

quick come back,

he won.

Life is not

a pretty game,

never won,

never tame.

Make the most,

drop the ghost,

have fun.
