Sailing On

Suddenly and slowly, 

drifts across the sky. 

Catches on a breeze, 

sails on mountain high. 

Searches for a trace of 

laughter on your lips. 

Tattered sails, trailing ropes, 

memory, it slips. 

My skins stands at attention, 

waiting for your touch. 

I only want for you to know, 

I miss you, oh so much.

I went outside and saw the sun, 
it was a happy day. 
Day went fast, was not to last, 
the sun it went away. 
Away went I onto a hill, 
to see the bright night sky. 
Sky so dark and so alive, 
I thought of you and I.
I only know, when we're apart, 
I couldn't love you more. 
More could ne'er describe my joy,
when you walk in the door.
