About this blog...

On this blog you will find the rambling thoughts and images a boy like me finds on the web. It is responses to my dilemma and experience. It's not rude or crude or stereotypical. Just me, just trying to be free, just learning to be myself...

My Dear

It's winter now, I miss the beach. The surf, the sand, beyond my reach.
I sit and stare, through windows bare and wait for sunny days.
I miss the warmth upon my skin, the ocean depths I love to swim,
I miss the boys I share my world within.
But most of all I miss his smile, I miss him more than once in a while.
I only have my memories to share.
But I know he is coming home, and in my arms he'll never roam.
I miss the sand, I miss his smile,
my dear.

summer and winter

Look at me..,
as I fly.
The summer bird,
in winter's sky.

But I am still.
Earth falls away.
My fears, my love,
they do stay.

The ground leaves me,
I am reborn.
The summer wind,
the winter storm.

But if you catch
me in the air.
You'll save my soul
and quench my fear.

So hold me tight,
and don't let go.
The summer sand,
the winter snow.

Summer Dreaming

Dream of golden boys
on foreign shores
and all the things
that you adore.

Of summer sands
and ocean spray
and the sweetness of
the newborn day.

Saturday

At summers end,
at early dawn,
a lifting mist,
a stifled yawn.
I wake anew
to regard the day,
as golden shafts
of light do play;
a pattern
on my bedroom wall,
and across the ceiling
they do crawl.
I throw the covers
and regain my feet,
the shower makes my wake
complete.
It's time to eat
for now today,
it's sport,
it's time,
it's Saturday.

As summer ends

As summer sets upon the land
I reflect upon the golden sands
Of hopes and dreams and memories
Of pulsing waves, the summer breeze

I feel the emptiness approach
The dreams I had are but a ghost
The cold comes forth, I can not stand
As summer sets upon the land
