There was a boy of golden lore,
who lived upon a foreign shore.
His heart did shine,
his eyes divine,
I only wished to know him more.

His breast did beat a steady sound,
I knew him best when he was around.
But when he left my heart did ache,
my slumber broken,
I did awake.
